How to make Polymer Clay look like Leather

Sketch a few designs

more obvious leather effect.
Use a variety of shapes and different browns

Use a flat blade screwdriver bit to create faux stitching.
|

Or place a row of holes to add in real stitching.
|
Bake them in the oven.
|

Using a brown acrylic paint, that is darker than the leather.
Buff that into the low lying cracks.

Using an even darker brown paint in the wording.

You can create even more variation in leather looks,
by buffing in different tints or shades of brown.

Metallic paint in the wording adds a fancy touch.
